This is our Alpine Vest. It’s made by hand in Scotland from traditional heavyweight wool from Italy. It’s lined with with modern nylon ripstop and it’s stuffed with recycled plastic. Pretty cool eh?
Inspired by classic American outerwear brands like LL Bean and Filson this design has long been bouncing around our heads and it’s great to finally get it out there, and seeing as this will be our last piece for a while it could become a collectors item.
The wool outer is made from the same wool the swanky Italian fashion brands use, but we’ve used it to actually make something nice looking. The insulation is wadding made from recycled plastic and the lining is technical ripstop. All finished off with a wool rib shawl collar, the Alpine Vest is the perfect transitional piece for Autumn into Winter when you can start showing off your ‘layering’ game.
